My primary specialization is UX/UI design, which involves creating fluid, intuitive interfaces through research and understanding stakeholder needs. Thanks to my technical background, I can also handle the integration of designs by working directly with code. Additionally, I offer branding services, helping businesses craft strong visual identities. I enjoy working with technical tools like 3D design, which, while complex, can significantly enhance the impact of a project and create stunning, immersive visuals depending on the project's needs.
My design process begins by deeply understanding the needs and objectives of all stakeholders—both the client and the target audience. To do this, I conduct thorough research and ask many questions, even ones that may seem trivial. I’ve realized that people often interpret words differently, so clarity is key. Once this foundation is set, I develop personas, create user flows, and move into wireframing. I keep communication open at every stage to gather feedback early, ensuring that any changes happen before they become too complex. Afterward, I move into prototyping, followed by testing and final integration. My ultimate goal is to deliver a seamless user experience that aligns with both business objectives and user needs.
To stay up to date with the latest trends, I regularly check reference websites like Awwards or design-sharing platforms such as Behance and Dribbble. I also use an extension called Muzli, which provides suggestions of pages I follow or that are relevant to my profile as soon as I open the browser. Additionally, I’ve decided to follow many pages related to innovation and UI/UX design on my social media.
Apart from Apple, which I would say is the best-known company in terms of UX UI and which in my opinion is its strength today compared to its competitors, I could mention Duolingo (which I use daily) which is an example in the field of gamification. Finally, another tool that I use a lot and which is very strong in the field of user experience by improving productivity while keeping a simple and intuitive design is the Notion platform which has transformed a complex application into a fluid and simple user experience.
I recently read The War of Intelligences in the Age of ChatGPT by Laurent Alexandre, which explores the growing influence of AI and its impact on society. The book raises important questions about how humans can stay relevant in a world where machines are becoming more powerful. This ties into my belief that AI is promising, especially for improving productivity in design, though we must be cautious about over-automation. While AI will replace some jobs, it will also create new ones, and human creativity will always be essential.
